Tonight while I was outside, I looked up and saw a beautiful moon. There was a ring around it, which looked like clouds, circling the moon. It was a site to see!

I took a picture with my cell phone camera, and though the ring isn’t seen as well, the picture was kind of neat.

While I was standing and looking at the moon, my cell phone rang and I spoke to Jacqueline, from North Carolina.

“There’s is a ring around the moon tonight.” I told her.

“Yeah, I see it!” She answered.

“You can see it?” I asked.

“Yes.” She stated.

I was amazed. I thought the clouds were local ones, and was perplexed that she could also see those same clouds.

“We are looking at the same moon!” She said, and laughed.

“Can you also see that airplane?” I asked, testing her.

“No!” Again, she laughed.

Sometimes it’s the little things, like looking at the moon and sharing it with someone a thousand miles away, that makes my day complete.

I still don’t know what caused the ring, but here is the picture.
