Every year I post about the Christmas Card program, which is NOT run or accepted by the Walter Reed Medical Center. This year is no exception.
Here is a copy of an e-mail I received from the CORRECT organization recently. I hope that all will find the time to send a card and a little note of thanks and well wishes to those who are serving our country! Please pass this info on to all of your friends and relatives. You can link to this page if you want to forward an e-mail to everyone. The link is:
Thanks, and have a blessed Christmas,
It is that time of the year again and we would love if we could have your support for our 2010 Holiday Mail for Heroes campaign. We need all the help we can get spreading the word and we would love it if you can help us out through your blog.
The site includes information about what types of cards can be sent, how cards should be addressed, and also provides further information regarding how you can get involved.
I wanted to see if you would be willing to spread the word about the campaign again this year through your blog, helping us send a touch of home to our U.S. Armed Forces, veterans and their families when they need it most.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I’m available through the
Twitter handle @Mail4Heroes<http://twitter.com/mail4heroes> as well. I hope to hear from you soon.
